| The Rt. Rev. Arthur A. Vogel, Episcopal Bishop of West Missouri,
briefed those attending the business meeting of the Episcopal Diocesan Ecumenical
Officers association about the contents of the Final Report of the Anglican-Roman
Catholic International Commission. Vogel, who has been a member of that body since
it began in 1970, noted both churches will now study the documents at all levels to
see if they truly represent the faith of the people and the Biblical heritage. He
expects no major steps toward unity by either Anglicans or Roman Catholics without
additional interim studies on some of the specific items which yet divide them.
