Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the office of Women in Mission and Ministry and the Public Policy Office of Jubilee Ministry work with the Washington Office to achieve the reinstatement of federal programs which aid and assist women and children.

Proposed Committee Substitute:

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the office of Women in Mission and Ministry, the Public Issues Officer, the Office of Jubilee Ministry and other appropriate units of the Church Center be directed to work with the Washington Office to seek increases in various federal programs which aid women and children in poverty and need.

Deputy Jesse Milan moved an amendment.

Proposed Amendment:

Insert "the Coalition of Human Needs" after "the Public Issues Officer''.
