Resolved, That this 69th General Convention commend those homosexual persons and others who have witnessed to us all in their caring for AIDS victims; and be it further

Resolved, That this 69th General Convention call for AIDS education programs in each congregation by the end of 1989; and be it further

Resolved, That models of AIDS education programs be made available by the Executive Council in conjunction with the National Episcopal Church AIDS Coalition; and be it further

Resolved, That such models promote safe sexual practices such as the use of condoms during sexual intercourse or ending the sharing of needles by intravenous drug users; and be it further

Resolved, That such models discuss frankly the need for fidelity within sexual relationships or abstinence as the only totally safe sexual practices; and be it further

Resolved, That such materials be presented in non-judgmental and non-pejorative manners; and be it further

Resolved, That such materials encourage further studies of human sexuality by all congregations.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That this 69th General Convention commend those homosexual persons and others who have witnessed to us all in their caring for AIDS victims; and be it further
