Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the 76th General Convention of The Episcopal Church support the passage by both Houses of Congress and its signing into law by the President of the United States of a law which would provide immigration equality for same-sex couples by permitting a citizen or permanent resident to sponsor an immigrant partner for permanent residence in the United States.
