Resolution Rejected: Adopted by One House Only.

Report Reference:   Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music, Reports to the 77th General Convention, 2012, pp. 162-474.
Abstract:   The 77th General Convention rejects a resolution to amend Canon II.2 that would revise the authorized versions of the Bible to be used in the Book of Common Prayer.
Notes:

In amending the text before adopting it, the House of Deputies attempted to refer a resolution to which the House of Bishops had not acceded. Thus, the resolution failed to receive concurrence for a referral.
