Resolved, That this 68th General Convention calls upon the Congress of the United States for an increase in foreign developmental aid, such aid to be targeted to countries presently stricken by famine; and be it further

Resolved, That the President of the United States be called upon to appoint a bipartisan commission to visit the famine-stricken countries in Africa and elsewhere and to recommend to him and to members of the Congress an appropriate U.S. policy; and be it further

Resolved, That the Secretary of the General Convention be charged to inform the President of the United States, members of Congress, the Secretary of State and the Director of the Agency for International Development of this resolution.
