Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That this 68th General Convention of the Episcopal Church oppose any resumption of the production of chemical (nerve gas) weapons, and urge the Government of the United States to take a position of moral leadership, as it has done since 1969, in trying to decrease the manufacture of chemical (nerve gas) weapons throughout the world; and be it further

Resolved, That the Secretary of General Convention be directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the President and to Congress, and to the Soviet and Iraqi Embassies.
