Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That this 68th General Convention encourages the 1988 Lambeth Conference to address anew the issues of war, violence, and the nuclear arms race, thereby providing to the Anglican Communion continuing episcopal leadership on these difficult and challenging concerns; and be it further

Resolved, That this resolution be forwarded to the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Secretary General of the Anglican Consultative Council.
