Resolved, That the 69th General Convention express its continued prayers for the Diocese of Namibia and support for the aspirations of the Namibian people for independence from South Africa as delineated in United Nations Resolution 435 and call upon our church to seek all avenues of advocacy and education on behalf of Namibian independence, including communicating the position of our church to appropriate government bodies.
