Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That this 69th General Convention of the Episcopal Church declare its belief that non-violent refusal to participate in or prepare for war is a faithful response of a member of this Church and that a decision to participate in or prepare for war should be made only after careful and prayerful consideration; and be it further

Resolved, That a person making such a conscientious decision either not to participate or to participate have the respect, the support and the ministry of the Church.
