Resolved, That the Episcopal Church of the USA, in its 72nd General Convention meeting in Philadelphia in July, 1997, express its appreciation and support of President Clinton's decision to appoint a national commission to combat the sin and evil of racism; and be it further

Resolved, That we offer our aid, counsel, support and cooperation in this vital endeavor to combat racism; and be it further

Resolved, That we encourage everyone to join us in this vital task.
