Resolved, That the Executive Council express its continued thanksgiving to the Presiding Bishop for his continued vision and prophetic witness for the Church, for the spirit and passion of the Address from the Chair and its impact on this Council as we stand with him in our desire to eradicate racism and the oppression of all humankind; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council give thanks to the Episcopal Church Center Staff for their work under difficult circumstances, done under the constraints of time, energy and financial resources; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its gratitude to the management and staff of the Doubletree Hotel for their attention and the manner in which they have carried out their duties; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council give thanks to God for the gift of Joyce McConnell as she completes her term and then some: for the joy, grace and wisdom with which she has carried out her responsibilities as a member of this Council; for the wonderful sense of humor that is Joyce McConnell and for the continued association with this "Servant of the Servants of God" in the knowledge that our paths shall cross again; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its thanks to the Diocese of the Rio Grande, its bishop, the Rt. Rev. Terence Kelshaw, and the entire diocesan staff for their hospitality and gracious planning for our time here for the time afforded us in Santa Fe and for the program at Holy Faith Church; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its corporate and individual thanks to the several members of the diocesan family for opening their homes to us for dinner following the program at Holy Faith Church, and especially for the culinary delights which were enjoyed by all; and be it further

Resolved, That we thank, by way of this resolution, the following persons:

Ms. Bev Anderson, Walter and Peggy Bruce, The Rev. Robin Clark, John and Lucy Draper, Paul and Lois Franke, Mrs. Diana Iams, Ms. Christine Johnston, Paul and Carol Looter, John and Myrle Macallister, David and Janice Matthews, Mrs. Shirley McNally, Charles and Johnanna McLaughlin, Nicholas and Anette Molnar, Charles and Beth Noland, James and Suzanne Spivey, Neel and Suzie Storr, Mrs. Patricia Turner, Steve and Suzanne Watkins; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council extend their prayers and thanksgiving for the ministry and witness of the Rt. Rev. Luc A. Garnier, Bishop of Haiti, and for his presence among us in the Diocese of the Rio Grande; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its prayers and best wishes to the Rev. Jane Holmes Dixon, Suffragan Bishop-Elect of the Diocese of Washington and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its great pleasure in receiving the news, during its regular meeting, of the election of the Rev. April Ulring Larson, first woman bishop of the La Crosse area Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and asks the Secretary to convey greetings to her by way of this resolution; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council congratulate Dr. Pamela P. Chinnis upon the occasion of her being granted an honorary degree from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council congratulate the Rev. Austin Cooper at his being granted an honorary degree by Seabury-Western Theological Seminary; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its joy that the Ven. Philip Allen will be awarded an Honorary Degree by the Berkeley Divinity Schools and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council offer thanksgiving at the appointment of the Rev. Michael Ingham as Dean of Christ Church Cathedral, Diocese of New Westminster; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its congratulations and prayers to the Rev. Dr. Erica Brown Wood on being elected President and Warden of the College of Preachers, Diocese of Washington and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council offer continued prayers and best wishes for those members of our family who are ill: Patti Browning, Barry Menuez, Robert Bonner, Jeanne Vetter and Barbara Kelleher-Bunten; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council commend the Presiding Bishop and Ann Smith of Women in Mission and Ministry for their vision, leadership and participation in the Anglican Encounter which took place in Brazil; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council commend the Editor of Episcopal Life, Jerry Hames; James Solheim, Editor of Episcopal New Service, and other staff upon being recipients of Polly Bond Awards during the 1992 Episcopal Communicators Conference; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council give thanks for the opportunity to greet Kesley Edmo, as he leaves the Council; for David Booth Beers, whose wisdom and wit has long been appreciated by the Council, giving thanks as he continues service to the Church as Chancellor to the Presiding Bishop.

Resolved, That the Executive Council send special greetings to the Pueblo community and express our sincere appreciation for our visitation with them.
