Resolved, That the Executive Council express its appreciation for the following appointments made by the Presiding Bishop.

Ms. Mildred Mbwando, Diocese of Manicaland, Zimbabwe, Church of the Province of Central Africa, assigned to work as Missionary Educator in the Diocese of Texas, The Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest (ETSS) and several Episcopal Churches in the Austin area. This appointment is for one year beginning January 1, 2004.

The Very Rev. Anthony Clavier, Diocese of South Dakota, assigned with the Convocation of American Churches in Europe as Director of the Episcopal Institute of Christian Studies (CECE), Paris, France. This appointment is for three years, beginning February 5, 2004.

Mr. Daniel Crawford, Diocese of Texas, assigned as Lay Minister in the Anglican Diocese of Uruguay, Anglican Church of the Southern Cone. This appointment with the Young Adult Service Corps program is for one year, beginning January 26, 2004.

Ms. Denise Forrest, Diocese of Los Angeles, assigned as Communications Assistant with the Diocese of Cuernavaca, Anglican Church of Mexico. This appointment with the Young Adult Service Corps program is for one year, beginning March 14, 2004.

Ms. Sarah Huber, Diocese of Western Massachusetts, assignment as Teacher and Peer Counselor in the Diocese of Maseno North, Anglican Church of Kenya. This appointment with the Young Adult Service Corps is for one year, beginning March 15, 2004.

Dr. Leila Richards, Diocese of Long Island, special assignment in the Diocese of Jerusalem with the US Ecumenical Accompaniers (a program with Christian Witness for Peace in Israel and Palestine). This was a special four-month assignment, from January to April, 2004.

Rev. Malcolm & Mrs. Mary Roberts, Diocese of Connecticut, assigned in the Diocese of Belize, Church of the Province of the West Indies, as Priest-in-Charge for St. Joseph’s Mission in Punta Gorda, and Diocesan Assistant respectively. These appointments are for the period of one year, starting March 22, 2004.

Br. Justus R. Van Houten, SSF, Diocese of California, assigned with the Anglican Church of Papua New Guinea as a Lecturer at Newton Theological College. This appointment is for two years, starting January 27, 2004.
