The Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music was charged by the 2009 General Convention to gather study documents, educational materials, and liturgies relating to same gender blessings and unions. The Commission has partnered with the Archives to host the C056 Website which will be organized from the outset to become a permanent digital archives for The Episcopal Church.

John Morris is remembered for his leadership in advocating for civil rights within the Church, and as a founding member and Executive Director of the Episcopal Society for Cultural and Racial Unity.
