Russian Orthodox participate in consecration of new bishop for Armed Services, healthcare and prison ministry. Bishop Savva, head of chaplaincy for the Russian Orthodox Church, brought greetings and a gift from Patriarch Alexy II to the consecration of George Packard as the fifth bishop suffragan for the Armed Services, healthcare and prison ministry. Presiding Bishop Frank T. Griswold (left) was the chief consecrator at the February 12 service at Washington National Cathedral, joined by Bishop Charles Keyser (right center), Packard's predecessor, and Bishop Ron Haines of the Diocese of Washington.
