75176-1 YOUNG AND OLD FLEE -- A young girl carries her grandmother as they flee a Communist advance near Dau Tieng, 35 miles north of Saigon. Tens of thousands of residents recently had to leave their homes. Aid for these and other refugees is provided through the Episcopal Church's Presiding Bishop's Fund for World Relief, which works with agencies such as Church World Service, the Fund for Reconciliation and Reconstruction, and Vietnam Christian Service. # 75176-2 REFUGEES ARRIVE -- A South Vietnamese woman carries her child to a bus after arriving at Philadelphia International Airport. They were part of a group of 55 refugees who received temporary housing in Perkasie, Pa., before assignment to sponsors, arranged by voluntary agencies. The Episcopal Church, through the Presiding Bishop's Fund for World Relief, welcomes sponsors to aid displaced persons such as these as they arrive in the U. S. Presiding Bishop John M. Allin recently issued a call for the Episcopal Church "to act in a caring and reconciling role at a time when refugees from a devastated land arrive to join us in our communities.
