New Directions' Holds Conference in Northeast

CAZENOVIA, N.Y. -- The Rt. Rev. William Davidson, Bishop of Western Kansas and chairman of the Joint Commission on the Church in Small Communities, has announced a "New Directions " Regional Conference, June 10-12, at Cazenovia, N.Y.

Participants are expected from the Dioceses of Albany, Central New York, Rochester, Western New York, Erie, Pittsburgh, Central Pennsylvania, and Bethlehem.

The "New Directions " programs will explore new models of ministry and leadership styles and resources for small communities.

Other leaders with Bishop Davidson will be the Rev. Professor Charles Winters, St. Luke's School of Theology, Sewanee, Tennessee; the Rev. Alton Stivers, St. James' Church, Watkins Glen, New York; and Lewis Beardsley, Jr., International Salt Company, Montour Falls, New York.
