Resolved, That the Executive Council express its
appreciation for the following appointments made by the Presiding Bishop.
Drs. Martin and Sandra
McCann, Diocese of Atlanta, assigned to work in Medical Development and
Theological Education, respectively, in the Diocese of Maseno North in the
Anglican Church Kenya, and as Development Consultants in the same two areas in
Tanzania. These appointments are for three years beginning February 1, 2004.
Mr. Austin Rios, Diocese of Western North Carolina, assigned
as the Communications Assistant for the Bishop's Office in the Diocese of
Southeast Mexico, Iglesia Anglicano de Mexico. This appointment with the Young
Adult Service Corps program is for one year, beginning February 1, 2004.
Rt. Rev. Mano Rumalshah, A Special Appointment in conjunction with the
United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, to enable Bishop Rumalshah to
resume duties as diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Peshawar, Church of
Pakistan. This Special Appointment is for 3 years starting October 29, 2003.
