Whereas, The video game labeled "Custer's Revenge" and produced by American Multiple Industries, 1899 Nordhoff Street, Northridge, CA 93124, has or soon will reach the public market; and

Whereas, "Custer's Revenge" has been labeled crude, vulgar, racist and sexist by the Episcopal Task Force on Women, other women's groups and by various American Indian groups around the country; and

Whereas, The viewing public will include children of both genders from first grade through high school, as well as adults; therefore be it

Resolved, That this Executive Council of the Episcopal Church, and the Office of the Presiding Bishop prevail upon American Multiple Industries to halt manufacture and release of "Custer's Revenge"; and be it further

Resolved, That the Office of the Presiding Bishop inform diocesan bishops of this resolution and encourage them to protest its use within their areas of jurisdiction.
