3. Leaders of the Seattle area religious community gathered for the Ecumenical Service Sunday, Sept. 24. Some 14, 000 persons attended the service and heard the Archbishop of Canterbury's plea for all Christians to engage in the work of Christian unity, the work of binding-up.
