Presiding Bishop John M. Allin of the Episcopal Church, and His Holiness Pimen, Patriarch of Moscow, exchanged pectoral crosses and conversation during an official ecumenical visit to the Soviet Union by Bishop Allin. The Patriarch was host at a formal luncheon honoring Bishop Allin and attended by 30 Russian prelates.
