Presiding Bishop John M. Allin, left, of the Episcopal Church, was escorted through the Armenian monastery of Geghart by Bishop Vahan, right, the Abbott. The monastery dates from the eighth century and includes a church building made from a giant hollowed out rock formation. Father Sarkis Sarkissian, center, served as interpreter for the Presiding Bishop during his Armenian visit.
