Lambeth XI. Chief Celebrant at the Eucharist which opened the 11th
Lambeth Conference of the Anglican Communion at Canterbury Cathedral on July 23
was the Most Rev. John Sepeku, Archbishop of Tanzania, center, behind altar. The
Liturgy of Tanzania was used in the service. The Archbishop of Canterbury, center,
kneeling in front of the St. Augustine chair, is president of the conference and preached
at the service.
