Bishop John Howe, secretary general, and John Denton of Australia,
chairman, process into Durham Cathedral for services opening the fifth meeting
of the Anglican Consultative Council held in Newcastle, Eng., Sept. 8-18.
Following them are the Rev. Richard Chartres, chaplain to the Archbishop of
Canterbury, and Archbishop Robert Runcie.
