Phoebe Griswold, wife of the presiding bishop, leads a game with homeless children in Puerto Cortes, Honduras (98-2274). Sharing a light moment, the wife of the presiding bishop meets children from 342 families housing in the gym of a high school, Instituto Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The families had been sleeping on the gymnasium's concrete floor, dampened by a leaking roof. Griswold and Ann Vest, interim director of the Presiding Bishop's Fund for World Relief, saw the conditions and immediately bought sleeping mats for the entire population there.
