Dr. Sally Sedgwick joined the Congregational Ministries staff at the Church Center as interim missioner for women's ministries and leadership development on August 1. Sedgwick worked at the Church Center from 1985-1990 as executive director of the Church Periodical Club. She was most recently employed as associate director of the Forward Movement Publication in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Deborah Stein joined Episcopal Migration Ministries as assistant grants manager on September 7. She recently served in Arizona as the Employment Services Supervisor with the resettlement program operated jointly by Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and Church World Service. Stein's background includes experience with overseas refugee operations. She was stationed in Croatia where she processed Bosnian refugees for resettlement in the U.S., and later worked in Macedonia during the humanitarian evacuation of Kosovars.
