Cutlines for Photos on Lambeth

1. The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Arthur Michael Ramsey relaxes with his fellow prelates prior to the taking of the official Lambeth Conference photograph. Talking with the Archbishop are the Rt. Rev. John E. Hines, Presiding Bishop, and, to his right, the Most Rev. William Lockridge Wright, Archbishop of Algoma and Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario (Anglican Church of Canada).

2. The Bishops and Archbishops of the Anglican Communion enter London's White City Stadium for the largest service of the Lambeth Conference. Originally scheduled for St. Paul's Cathedral, the service, which was held on the evening of August 19, had to be held in the Stadium because of demand for tickets.

3. The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Arthur Michael Ramsey, answers questions during the final press conference of the 1968 Lambeth Conference. The Conference, held in London, ended Aug. 25.

4. Youthful protestors greeted Bishops and Archbishops of the Anglican Communion as they entered St. Paul's Cathedral for the closing service of the 1968 Lambeth Conference.
