Teleconferencing Network Announces 1993-94 Series

The Episcopal Cathedral Teleconferencing Network (ECTN) will begin its 1993-94 programming with a teleconference on the work of the Anglican Communion in international affairs with Sir Paul Reeves, Archbishop of Canterbury George Carey and Bishop Edmond Browning, on November 8 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. (ET). This broadcast includes a live segment in which Reeves and Browning will speak with the teleconference audience "interactively" via telephone call-ins.

A second teleconferences will include a live question-and-answer session with Terry Waite, former representative of the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Middle East, scheduled tentatively for November 16.

An Advent/Christmas special featuring the Rev. Barbara Crafton, the Rev. Susan Harris and Madeleine L'Engle is scheduled for December.

On January 25-26, ECTN will broadcast Trinity Institute's 25th National Conference The Other: a Christian response to pluralism.
