Morehouse to Publish Resources for Lambeth

(ENS) The Essential Guide to the Anglican Communion and Lambeth Praise, a songbook, was published in June by Morehouse Publishing and shipped to England for the Lambeth Conference in Canterbury, July 18-August 9. The Essential Guide to the Anglican Communion incorporates maps, photos, a list of the primates of the 37 provinces and churches of the Communion, including mailing addresses, telephones and fax numbers, statistics, key resolutions of past Lambeth Conferences, statements of Anglican faith, history and vision, and a glossary of terms. James Rosenthal, director of communications for the Anglican Communion office in London, compiled the book with assistance from members of his staff. Lambeth Praise includes 296 hymns, songs, and chants from throughout the Communion selected by Geoff Weaver, director of music for Lambeth '98, and a music committee. The songbook, which contains nearly 600 pages, will be used during the services.
