"As one of the member universities of the consortium of Colleges and Universities of the Anglican Communion and the only American university founded by Episcopal bishops, which continues to be governed by Episcopal bishops and many devoted lay people in the Episcopal Church, it is an honor to have Dr. Carey with us to witness our relationship and contributions within the worldwide Anglican Communion," said Williamson.
