About 1,000 delegates, representing most of the world-wide Anglican Communion's 340 dioceses, are expected to attend the 1963 Anglican Congress to be held in Toronto.

About one-quarter of the 43 dioceses in the Provinces of Canterbury and York were established before the Norman Conquest in 1066.

The Advisory Council on Missionary Strategy, a body of the Anglican Communion, assists in strengthening the common life and planning of the Communion's 18 Churches.
