Resolved, That this 67th General Convention of the Episcopal Church, recognizing that increased military spending is inseparably linked with greater impoverishment of the poor and oppressed, calls for a reordering of Federal budget priorities from continuing increases in military spending to maintaining, restoring, and expanding human services; and be it further
Resolved, That the Secretary of the General Convention be charged to inform the President and members of Congress of the United States of this conviction; and be it further
Resolved, That the Public Issues Office, the Hunger Office and the Washington Office of the Episcopal Church undertake on behalf of this Convention the informing and educating of the members of this Church in these matters.
