Resolved, That the 67th General Convention express its thanks to the Rt. Rev. Robert Eames, Bishop of Down and Dromore, for his presentation on the present conflict in Northern Ireland and its causes; assure the Clergy and People of the Church of Ireland of our prayers for their continuing Christian witness in difficult circumstances; and commend the various ministries of reconciliation undertaken by Christians in Ireland, particularly Corrymeela, the Glencree Reconciliation Centre, and the Christian Renewal Centre, Rostrevor, a work initiated by the Rev. Cecil Kerr, a Priest of the Church in Ireland.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the 67th General Convention express its thanks to the Rt. Rev. Robert Eames, Bishop of Down and Dromore, for his presentation on the present conflict in Northern Ireland and its causes; assure the Clergy and People of the Church of Ireland of our prayers for their continuing Christian witness in difficult circumstances; and commend the various ministries of reconciliation undertaken by Christians in Ireland, particularly Corrymeela, the Glencree Reconciliation Centre, and the Christian Renewal Centre, Rostrevor, a work initiated by the Rev. Cecil Kerr, a Priest of the Church in Ireland.
The Committee recommended that the resolution be adopted without amendment.
