Resolved, That this 68th General Convention of the Episcopal Church call on the Soviet bloc governments and on all other signatories to the Helsinki Accords to fulfill their human rights obligations under the Helsinki Accords; and be it further

Resolved, That this Convention call on the U.S. State Department and the foreign ministries of all signatories to the Helsinki Accords to continue to link their nations' future cooperation in economic, science, and technology transfer activities to improvements in human rights practices; and be it further

Resolved, That the Secretary of this Convention communicate this resolution to the U.S. State Department and the foreign ministries of all the Helsinki signatories.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That this 68th General Convention of the Episcopal Church call on Soviet bloc governments to fulfill their human rights obligations under the Helsinki Accords; and be it further

Resolved, That this Convention call on the U.S. State Department and the foreign ministries of the United Kingdom, the Federal Republic of Germany, France, and Italy to continue to link cooperation with Soviet bloc countries in economic, science, and technology transfer activities to improvements in human rights practices.
