Resolved, That this 69th General Convention reaffirms its commitment to the eradication of hunger, malnutrition and poverty and commends the work of the National Hunger Committee and its Network; and be it further

Resolved, That this 69th General Convention urges each diocese to appoint or reconfirm a National Hunger Committee Network Contact; and be it further

Resolved, That this 69th General Convention encourages the Public Ministries staff cluster in the National Mission in Church and Society division of the Episcopal Church and the National Hunger Committee to work collaboratively in the coming three years to develop programs in the following four hunger issue areas identified by a national survey of Diocesan Hunger Representatives.

  1. Personal and Institutional Transformation
  2. Domestic Poverty
  3. World Food Production and Distribution
  4. Environmentally Sustainable Agriculture

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That this 69th General Convention reaffirms its commitment to the eradication of hunger, malnutrition and poverty and commends the work of the National Hunger Committee and its Network; and be it further
