Resolved, That the 1991 General Convention of the Episcopal Church strongly endorse the development of federal policies to shift economic resources from military to civilian uses and urge the parishes and dioceses of our Church to study and to discuss the application of economic conversion principles and to prepare for their implementation; and be it further
Resolved, That this Convention urge the parishes and dioceses to respond to the immediate pastoral and economic problems generated by the recently announced closing of numerous military installations throughout the United States during the Fiscal Year 1992 and following.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 1991 General Convention of the Episcopal Church strongly endorse the development of federal policies to shift economic resources from military to civilian uses and urge the parishes and dioceses of our Church to study and to discuss the application of economic conversion principles and to prepare for the implementation.
