Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That this 72nd General Convention grant to the Diocese of Haiti an extension of six more years (1997-2003) to continue the experimentation with the Caribbean Province.

Proposed Committee Amendment:

Delete lines 2-3 and add "Dioceses of Haiti and the Dominican Republic an extension of the three more years (1997-2000) to continue the experimentation with the Caribbean Region (which includes the autonomous Dioceses of Puerto Rico and Cuba)."
