Resolved, That the 76th General Convention of The Episcopal Church urges provinces, dioceses, congregations and worshiping communities to include accurate and comprehensive HIV and AIDS prevention in youth education programs; and be it further

Resolved, That The Episcopal Church encourage its congregations and worshiping communities to offer educational programming to interested parents and grandparents on how to discuss sex with their children; and be it further

Resolved, That the National Episcopal AIDS Coalition (NEAC) and National Episcopal Health Ministries (NEHM) be requested to compile appropriate secular and theological resources for this programming, including but not limited to: abstinence, resisting peer pressure and methods for preventing HIV, other STDs and pregnancy; and be it further

Resolved, That NEHM and NEAC further be requested to make these materials available to clergy, parishes, parish nurses, Christian educators and Episcopal schools.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the 76th General Convention of The Episcopal Church urges provinces, dioceses, congregations and worshiping communities to include accurate and comprehensive HIV and AIDS prevention in youth education programs; and be it further

Resolved, That The Episcopal Church encourage its congregations and worshiping communities to offer educational programming to interested parents and grandparents on how to discuss sex with their children; and be it further
