Resolved, That this Church urge the President and Congress to explore a moratorium on production of new nuclear arms.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the 76th General Convention call upon U.S. political leaders to order the dismantling of existing nuclear weapons and nuclear power plants in the United States, while urging other nations to do likewise; and be it further
Resolved, That no production of new nuclear weaponry and/or nuclear power plants be undertaken by this nation.
