Resolved, That the House of Bishops meeting at the 79th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Austin, Texas, sends our greetings and the assurance of our prayers to His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Geron of America, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America and President of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops, rejoicing in the long and significant relationship that has existed between the Orthodox Church and the Anglican Communion, and looking forward to a renewed and deepening relationship between our Churches as a visible expression of the vocation of the Church to the ministry of reconciliation and to the unity of all in Christ.
