Resolved, That the 80th General Convention express its full support of the World Health Organization in its mission to promote the highest standard of health for all people; and be it further

Resolved, That the 80th General Convention support the position that the United States of America remain a full member of the Organization; and be it further

Resolved, That the 80th General Convention direct the Office of Government Relations to communicate to the leadership of both Houses of Congress and other appropriate governmental agencies the position of The Episcopal Church regarding the World Health Organization and its concern that the independence of the World Health Organization to pursue its global mission not be compromised by partisan national politics and interference, especially as the world responds to the threat of climate change to world health and the effect of pandemics such as Covid-19 on populations with fragile health care systems; and be it further

Resolved, That the 80th General Convention supports full payment by the United States of their assessed financial contributions and funding to the World Health Organization and directs the Office of Government Relations to communicate this to the leadership of both Houses of Congress and the President of the United States.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring,

That the 80th General Convention express its full support of the World Health Organization in its mission to promote the highest standard of health for all people; and be it further

Resolved, That the 80th General Convention direct the Office of Government Relations to communicate to the leadership of both Houses of Congress that we support the full funding of the U.S. assessed contribution to WHO ($109 million for FY2023). supports full payment by the United States of theirĀ  assessed financial contributions and funding to the World Health Organization and directs the Office of Government Relations to communicate this to the leadership of both Houses of Congress and the President of the United States.
