Resolved, That the House of Bishops, meeting at this 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Baltimore, Maryland, sends our greetings to Bishop Elizabeth Eaton, Presiding Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, giving thanks for her re-election to a second term as Presiding Bishop in 2019, and assuring her of our prayers for God’s grace and strength for her in her ministry; and be it further

Resolved, That the House of Bishops rejoices in over 20 years of full communion with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, with an ever-growing number of shared congregations and joint ministries which Called to Common Mission has enabled; and be it further

Resolved, That the House of Bishops notes the significant work of Churches Beyond Borders, our coalition with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Anglican Church of Canada, and the Evangelical Church in Canada, to educate our Churches on urgent matters of common concern and action, including the Doctrine of Discovery, racial reconciliation, and the environment.
