Resolved, That the House of Bishops of the 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Baltimore, Maryland, sends our greetings and the assurance of our prayers to His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America and President of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops, giving thanks for his election as Archbishop in 2019; and further, rejoicing in the long and significant relationship that has existed between the Orthodox Church and the Anglican Communion, looks forward to a renewed and deepening relationship between our Churches as a visible expression of the vocation of the Church to the ministry of reconciliation and to the unity of all in Christ.
