Resolved, That the House of Bishops of the 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Baltimore, Maryland, sends our greetings and the assurance of our prayers to the Delegates of the Standing Conference of Oriental Orthodox Bishops, rejoicing in the long and significant relationship that has existed between the Oriental Orthodox Churches and the Anglican Communion, and praying for a renewed and deepening relationship between our Churches as a visible expression of the vocation of the Church to the ministry of reconciliation and to the unity of all in Christ; and sends our commitment in solidarity to our Christian sisters and brothers of your Churches wherever they face persecution, violence, and displacement.
