Resolved, That this 67th General Convention, in passing a resolution favoring the use of marijuana for therapeutic use when deemed medically appropriate by duly licensed medical practitioners, in no way wishes to be understood as failing to recognize the serious problem of drug abuse in our society, especially among our young people; and further, we do acknowledge and proclaim there are harmful effects which can be permanently disabling with the use of marijuana, especially among young people who are physically, mentally, and spiritually in their developing years.
