Resolved, That the House of Bishops meeting at the 79th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Austin, Texas, sends our greetings and the assurance of our prayers to the Delegates of the Standing Conference of Oriental Orthodox Bishops, rejoicing in the long and significant relationship that has existed between the Oriental Orthodox Churches and the Anglican Communion, and looking forward to a renewed and deepening relationship between our Churches as a visible expression of the vocation of the Church to the ministry of reconciliation and to the unity of all in Christ; and be it further
Resolved, That the House of Bishops meeting at the 79th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, sends our commitment in solidarity to our Christian sisters and brothers of your Churches wherever they face persecution, violence, and displacement.
