Resolved, That the Executive Council urge the dioceses and their congregations to work actively in support of the Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride (IWFR) by educating their members to the importance of immigrant law reform and organizing local congregations to support the Freedom Ride both by participating in activities to host and welcome the Freedom Riders on their national routes to the nation’s capital and by financial contributions to IWFR. |
