Resolved, That the Executive Council endorse the request of the 30th Convention of the Diocese of the Dominican Republic to the next General Convention of the Episcopal Church to be held in Detroit in July 1988, for the necessary authorization to begin the trial period leading toward autonomy, and the beginning of the development of a formal agreement between PECUSA and the Diocese of the Dominican Republic. |
