Resolved, That the Executive Council of the Episcopal Church in our meeting in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, 28 October through 1 November 1999, expresses its profound gratitude to the Government of Honduras, Carlos Roberto Flores Facusse, President; and Roberto Flores Bermudez, Foreign Minister; the City of San Pedro Sula, Roberto Silva, Mayor and Luisa Margarita Oliva, Deputy Mayor; and the Administration and Staff of Roberto Morales Airport; Carlos Ponce, Administrator, staff and administration of Security, Immigration and Customs for its gracious hospitality and facilitation of our comfort; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses our profound gratitude to the Diocese of Honduras for their gracious hospitality and for the outstanding welcome that far exceeded our hopes; the Rt. Rev. Leo Frade, the Ven. John Park, Mayra de Arguelles, P.M. Blenda de Sierra, Margarita Bodden, Eleana de Villalobos, Allan Bodden, Carlos Pineda, Jesus Borjas, Donilo Barrera, Lourdes de Rivera, Geraldina Urbian, Carla Fajardo and Reina Guzman; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses to Bishop Frade and Diane Frade our utmost appreciation for the energy that was extended to make this gathering such a huge success; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council thanks the people and clergy of this diocese for their support and availability that truly enhanced our stay; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses thanks to El Buen Pastor Cathedral, Dean John McDonald and his staff, servers and musicians for a wonderful spirit filled worship on the Eve of All Saints Day; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses thanks to the Rev. Canon Leonel Blanco, the Rev. Martin Jaleano, Mario Emilio Milian, Rosa de Blanco, Abagail Nelson, and Yesenia Blanco for the guidance and support given to the Executive Council's work team in our work at the Faith, Joy and Hope Housing Project as our lives were transformed and our spirits made new; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council extends Godspeed to the inhabitants of the Faith, Joy and Hope Housing Project as they move into this new community and start anew; and be it further

Resolved, That the opportunity given to members of Executive Council to work side by side with craftsmen, forming an assembly line, passing cement and sand, bricks, moving wheel barrows of cement, painting, moving mounds of dirt is an experience that will not soon be forgotten; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council extends thanks to Padre Blanco for his work in bringing this community to fruition; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council wishes to say thank you to the students of Buen Pastor Episcopal Escuela Bilingual for being on the construction site to translate and perform whatever tasks were asked of them; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council wishes to thank Bishop and Diane Frade for making all the necessary arrangements for our arrival at the airport whereby giving a smooth passage through customs; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council extends its thanks, prayers and best wishes for everyone engaged in the vital ministry of Little Roses Home for abandoned and abused children, Diane Frade, Executive Director; Sonia de Villanueva, Blanca de Gavarrete, Xiomara Santos, the Rev. Dorenda Peterson, Mauricio Castillo, Waldina Tabora, Odila de Zelaya, Denia Maldonado, Daisy Torres, Bess Friedlander, Gregory Allen, Zachary A. Dunn, Nixon Cristina Reyes, Herminio Diaz, Maria Juana Mejia, Paulina Mejia, Norma Quintanilla, Adela Medrano, Osiris Rosa, Gladys Ismenia Martinez, Diana Morataya, Norma Carolina Dubon, Jenny Montoya, Maria Arely Contrera and Blanca Lidia Quintanilla; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses gratitude to the Administration and staff of El Camino Real Intercontinental Hotel for their gracious hospitality; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council sends greetings and assurances of our continued prayers to Bishop Johnson and Frank Oberly, our colleagues on Council, and to the families of Bishop Keyser and Vince Currie in the illness of their children; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council sends condolences to the families of Bishops Robert Appleyard, Gray Temple, and the Rev. Charles Price; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council gives thanks to Bishop Holguin for the helpful, informative and challenging Province IX Report; and be it further

Resolved, That this Council thanks A&F, Steven Duggan and the staff for leading us through an understandable budget process; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council expresses its gratitude to Lori Ionnitui for good choices made for the comfort and well being of members; and be it further

Resolved, That this Council expresses its gladness for the excellent performance rendered by Cheryl Dawkins and Yvonne McBean; and be it further

Resolved, That Council expresses gratitude for the outstanding leadership of Bishop Griswold and Dr. Pamela Chinnis, presiding officers and for members of the Management Team; and be it further

Resolved, That Council gives a hearty [well] done to Carole Jan Lee, Musical Director and the "pick-up-choir"; and be it further

Resolved, That Council wishes happiness and a long life together to the Rev. Reynolds Cheney and Ms. Stephanie Turnbull as they begin a new life together as husband and wife.

Resolved, That the Executive Council meeting in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, on 1 November commends Vernon Hazlewood for his faithful leadership in Planning and Development for ECUSA; and be it further

Resolved, That this Council offers thanks for Vernon Hazlewood's staff support and leadership especially in diocesan visitations, transition planning, development of budget priorities; and be it further

Resolved, That this Council wishes Vernon Hazlewood Godspeed and sends our love and blessings as he embarks on new adventures in both the church and the world.
