Resolved, That Executive Council meeting in Jacksonville, Florida, October 15-19, 2001, receive with gratitude the report of the May meeting of the joint covenant committee of the Iglesia Anglicana de Mexico and the Episcopal Church and gives thanks for the continuing partnership between our two churches; and be it further Resolved, That a copy of this resolution and the report itself be sent to the diocesan bishops of this church, the Anglican and Global Relations Office and the Episcopal Partnership for Global Mission, with the request that they give particular attention to the suggestions for extending and deepening relationships and joint mission projects between the two churches; and be it further Resolved, That the Executive Council send its greetings and best wishes to the Primate and Executive Council of the Anglican Church of Mexico. |
